I was wondering if another episode was going to be posted before Xmas.
Thank you for the present of this podcast.
Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year!

Wish these came out faster, burned through all 60 in a few days, at the rate they are coming out, I’ll forget to check for updates. Wish they had more shows like this available, really nice listening to them while driving or before bed.

All I want for christmas is the next claybourne ep

I guess I’ll check back here every 6 months or so and get whatever has been posted.
It’s too frustrating to wait for each one with them being posted so irregularly.

I’m up to episode 15, and I’ve finally figured out how to make listening tolerable so I can finally start enjoying plot and prose.
The tiny 5 minutes segments padded with over a minute of intro music, and I find it very hard to “stay” in the story with so much distraction.
So I lopped off the first and last 30 seconds in iTunes. I figure that has saved me an HOUR of my life over the course of this book. I then created a Smart Playlist to include segments with a play count of 0, allowing continuous play of the segments. Make sure to “not include in Shuffle” or “Shuffle by Album” to keep in order.
Now if only there was a way to tone down the sound effects and excessive background music. Base Reducing EQ helps with that. But I wish this was more an audio book and less an old-time radio production. I’m waiting for a horse to enter a scene so I can hear the coconuts and have a Monty Python-inspired giggle.
Check out the Seanachai. A nice balance of audio production and story telling.

At this rate it will take several years to get to the end. What happened to three episodes a week?

Thanks for all of the episodes so far, I’ve really enjoyed the series. Are episodes going to continue to be posted here, or has the location swithed again?
Thanks,
Saul

Hi everyone, I’m a newbie to Claybourne but I’m slowly discovering it’s like Pringles: once you pop you can’t stop! This show is addicting! When’s a new one coming out?! :)

January 16th, 2006 at 6:32 pm
Uhh… No comments yet? Are comments not being logged?
I mean, I can understand, what with people probably getting a bit testy…
OK. November. Six episodes? That’s not so bad. I could live with that. Another eight months or so to finish up would be OK.
But at a rate of one a month or less, on average, we aren’t going to hear it all till 2010.
Doesn’t the Mayan calendar end around then?
Is this some sort of apocalyptic prophesy?
“When the task of posting Claybourne is complete, the age of man shall end.”
