Thompson's use of the word "Torch" in the beginning of this episode seems very strange to me. Thompson's supposed to be an American, who would use the word "Flashlight" instead of "torch". Was this deliberately chosen to facilitate understanding in New Zealand?

As an American, I've been very pleased with Thompson's character throughout this radio drama series. I'm continuously impressed at how accurately our cultural arrogance has been presented, and how Thompson quickly learns to work around his assumptions and start really accepting the Kiwi culture.

Great job, keep up the good work.
